Denise started her career at Glasfit as a Frontline Sales Consultant in 1998. Liaising with clients, insurance brokers and insurance companies. Customer care was key. Striving to reach targets were accomplishments and challenges which were tackled head on. She worked her way up to Key Account Consultant, meeting with clients face to face and making sure their requirements were met.

After 17 years of hard work and dedication, Denise then became Officer Manager for Krauss Glass and Aluminum in 2015. She dealt with suppliers, homeowners and construction companies, ensuring everything ran smoothly from tender processes to project completion. Denise did monthly Health & Safety audits on sites as well as assisted with HR, payroll, creditors and stock take.

Denise started at VCA in May 2021 learning and growing in all VCA services. She has had extensive training in Skills Development, Employment Equity, POPI, HR and legal compliance. Through all her training she has submitted Employment Equity reports to the department of labour as well as deregistrations. Denise has submitted Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports to numerous SETAs for companies Skills Development submissions, assisted with learnership applications as well as mandatory grant payments and queries.

Denise has attended a business communication and report writing course, POPI training, SETA training and update sessions, to discipline or counsel course, BCEA training, COIDA training to name a few. Denise has completed her SDF course in 2022 and is looking forward to expanding her knowledge in the year coming forward. She has also chaired employment equity and skills development meetings for many of VCA’s clients and assisted them to become compliant with all legislative issues.
