Personal Summary

Micaela matriculated from Benoni High school in 2018 and studied further at the International Hotel School. 

At International Hotel School, Micaela did practical training at The Birchwood Hotel for a year and worked in different departments including housekeeping, event coordination and food and beverage. This training allowed Micaela to gain confidence and experience with dealing with customers and meeting their needs. Micaela completed her studies in Hospitality Management and graduated with academic colours.  

Micaela joined the VCA team in 2020 as an Administrator and has since gained knowledge and experience in various legislation allowing her to consult with clients in different industries. In 2020, Micaela attended a course to become a registered Skills Development Facilitator and assist companies with their annual training plans before submitting annual reports to their SETA. Micaela also assists VCA’s clients with their POPIA requirements and ensuring compliance measures have been correctly implemented. 

Through VCA, Micaela has obtained certificates in various Health and Safety trainings and attended numerous workshops on Employment Equity and Skills Development which has assisted her when capturing and submitting reports to the Department of Labour and different SETA’s respectively. 

Micaela continues to gain experience and knowledge within VCA.
